Bought a blu-ray player. Listing said that the package would include player, remote control, and cables. Package was missing cables and remote; without the remote control, the machine is 100% unusable. Dealtree said it would refund the purchase price, but would not pay for return shipping. This is unacceptable because the problem was caused by THEIR negligence. Why should it cost me approximately $15 to send the item back to them?! That means that NOT getting what they promised will cause me to lose $15! That is not how the law of contracts works! When you fail to deliver on a contract, you must "put the other party back into the position they were in before the contract" -- in other words, their breach of contract should NOT cost me one penny.
Unacceptable. Deal with this company at your own risk.
