I have no resolution to my problem yet. I'm basically unhappy because I waited until the iPod 3rd generation models went on sale to buy a new one. What they ended up sending me was a 2nd generation. I only discovered this after updating to the new iOS 4 and found some new features weren't there! So I rean the serial number through apple.com and that's when I found out they sent me an older product than what was advertised and what I had purchased. I can't see what they come up with regarding this.
I do have to say in the past, they were lightning fast with replacements while under warranty... but finding out I was duped wasn't fun.
