ebridge--lying scammers!
I just received a call from "ebridge" telling me they wanted to feature our business in Google and other such search engines for our city for a month. THE FIRST THING out of my mouth before I let the lady finish her speech, was IS THERE A CHARGE FOR THIS?? I asked 3 TIMES as she was explaining the service, he answer each and every time was "No ma'am, there is no charge for this!" Then they go into a series of questions of which they already know the answers to, you can find our basic information ANYWHERE, but they do this to get you to say "Yes", in response to their questions, over and over again. Is this your business name... Is this your address... Is this your phone number... Is this.... more questions they know the answers to, but want you to say, yes, yes, yes, yes... over and over again- cause now you just "agreed" to be billed for what they told you was going to be free! LIES!!! In the business response on 12/7/2011, they state: "We maintain that our processes and protocols are perfectly legitimate and we certainly do not resort to any fraudulent tactics. We enter into a good faith agreement with each of our clients, taking their word that they are authorized to make billing decisions on behalf of the business. Our protocol requires our agents to specifically state that automatic billing would begin after the initial 30 day evaluation, and in order for a sales call to pass our QA department, customers must clearly state that they understand these terms." In the business response on 10/12/2011 "We are very upfront about our billing process and have no benefit in misleading our clients. Our protocol requires our agents to specifically state that there will be billing in arrears after the initial 30-day evaluation, and in order for a sales call to pass our QA department, customers must clearly state that they understand these terms" What a bunch of B.S.!! The lady lied to me 3 times, telling me there was no charge for this, that I wouldn't be billed. At the end of her questions (after saying "yes" over and over) I asked again- so I won't have any charges on my phone bill for this then?? Here she stopped, stammered, and begrudgingly said "no, but after the 30 day trial..." I said "NOPE!!! NOT INTERESTED, I Don't want anything to do with this!! Do NOT sign me up for anything!!!" How much do you want to bet I'll see a charge on my phone bill!!! This company is a JOKE!!

We would like to clarify that “Abby K.” has misquoted a portion of our sales script. As you have read our previous responses, you can see that we are open about our process and protocols. We have been in business over ten years and have repeatedly garnered prestigious accolades from companies such as Deloitte and Inc. 500|5000. Obviously, only legitimate companies are capable of these achievements. We launch online marketing campaigns that propel our clients' internet listings to the first page of organic search results on over 125 search engines, including search giants Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Our leads are gathered through existing online business directories. It is understandable that sometimes the information listed is incorrect; therefore, we confirm business information during our sales call. We offer a 30-day trial period for potential clients to see the benefits of our service for their business. Potential clients are not obligated to agree to our service and terms and may simply decline our trial offer. No account will be created and no billing will occur if a person is clearly not interested in our service.
