Beware of this company. Recently I used this company to move my things from Ohio to California. When I booked a reservation I was informed that it would take 7 days for the truck to arrive to my new home. I informed the salesperson that it was very important for my things to be there by a certain date and so we agreed upon a date that was within the 7 days for guarenteed delivery. I called the day of delivery to make sure the truck was there and was informed that I wouldnt be receiving my property for another week. This wasnt the agreed upon date and so I explained to them that I had made the arrangements with one of their staff who ironically every time I called never called me back(I had to keep calling to speak to him)I was then informed of the 21 day leeway which allowed the moving company that long to deliver. I was extremely upset because I was told that I would have my things by that date and I had nothing to live on. I ended up spending alot of money on clothes, hotel, dining out, bedding, eating ware, & towels(when I eventually did stay in my apt)due to their false information. I asked them kindly to give me a discount due to their error and was told I wasnt going to get one as it was my fault. I then informed one of the dispatchers that I wouldnt have the full balance due to the inconvenience and was threatened with extra fees. Then the man hung up on me before I could defend myself. I managed to scrape the money together and paid them off but the cost hurt very badly. What was supposed to have been an nice smooth transition turned into a nightmare. This company is extremely unprofessional and unfriendly in their customer service. They gave false information in regards to delivery to obtain my reservation. The salesperson nor driver himself didnt explain the terms and conditions of the delivery nor did they tell me it would take so long to deliver my property to my new home. I wanted to let all people who were thinking of using this company to be aware of their treatment of customers as their services were beyond rehensible. To better their service they should upon booking go over the entire terms and conditions of the delivery and allow the consumer to decide if that is what they wanted(if I had known this, I never wouldve used their services) and again the driver should reiterate the same to make sure that everything is understood. They should also offer reimbursement for whatever inconveniences are caused to show good customer service.
