Trans United Inc. is a very bad moving company. They cheated me and highly over charged me for moving my stuff from Detroit to Los Angles in July, 2010. They (rep's name is Jennifer) gave me a "not to exceed cost" quote of $1859 by weight. However, after their driver loaded my stuff in Detroit and charged me $4523. They loaded my stuff without disassemble some furnitures and calculated the weight based on estimated volume. They cheated me that's the way to calculate weight. When a 3rd party company based in Las Vegas delivered my stuff with a smaller truck to my home in Los Angles, I did measured the volume which is about half of original recorded number. Some furnitures had been disassembled in their wharehouse to reduce volume and are destroyed or damaged. I sent claim to them through mail twice and email twice. The assigned claim rep's name is Vladimir Masnev either told me that they don't have my file and asked re-send again or is hardly to reach. After 5 months, I was directed to a 3rd party angent (called Anthem Claim Management) and then got a final settlement offer of $42.
In my opinion, this company is no-star rating and should not be in business to cheat more people.
