I hired this company to do my whole house tiling job. the owner does not follow trade guidelines from TCNA, ANSI, and tile manufactures for installing the ceremic tiles. for example, the tiles that I have are 12" x 35" format. according to the TCNA, ANSI, tile manufacture guidelines, installer is required to 100%"back buttering" the back of tiles before laying them for any tile size that is larger than 8". however, they totally ignored that practice and worst of all, does not even put a bonding coat to the mortar bed before setting tiles. they only applied small amount of thin set on back of tiles and set them to the floor and walls. the owner also claims that he is an Kerdi/Ditra expert. but he does not follow the schluter installation guidelines through out the whole process. for example, he does not embed the kerdi membrane fully during the shower system installation. he also trying to save some money by not using the kerdi inside & outside corners,Kerdi seal & fix. very dishonest business man. if you're going to hire him to do your tiling job, I strongly recommend you read the TCNA guidebook before he starts doing your job and make sure include the following statement "installer need to follow TCNA, ANSI, and all the manufacture guidelines" in the job specification.

Customer satisfaction is of the upmost importance, it is taken seriously at Tile Synergy. This client was unhappy with the work done by a subcontractor. I immediately agreed to an inspection by the Ceramic Tile Institute of America. I take pride in customer service and quality.
The tile work done by me and my employee passed inspection; bath #2 & bath #3. It was recommended that bath #1 & bath #4, tiled by the subcontractor be removed and replaced. I agreed, ordered the replacement tile, and contacted the client to schedule times to address these issues.
Instead, this client went directly to an attorney instead of working out this issue amiably. We agreed to arbitration with the Contractors State License Board. The complainant asked for $39,526.10 to remedy the situation. They were awarded $750 for the inspection (as we agreed to), $2,086.49 for repair, and the replacement tile.
The complaints against my company were grossly exaggerated by this Reviewer as you can derive by the CSLB decision.
Tile Synergy Inc. is name you can trust to use top notch materials and provide quality service.
