I hate writing these things and so I never normally do, but I promised myself that if I got a good result on my DUI case, that I would review the attorney. Short but sweet, the Attorney Cognata kept me informed at every critical stage of the case and even called once in a while just to see how I was doing under the stress. That was refreshing as the last attorney I hired never called me at all. Oh yeah, he also won my DMV hearing and reduced my charges to a minor traffic offense. On a second time DUI I was looking at 60 days jail and a 1 year license suspension. Neither of which happened. I may not sound it, but I am elated. As a commercial truck driver, I would have lost my commercial license forever on a 2nd time DUI, but thanks to Cognata, I get to keep driving my rig and providing for my family. Mr. Cognata earned his fees 10 times over and I think a cookie basket will be coming his way!
