I was pleasantly surprised when we picked up the RV as it was much nicer than I expected and super clean. I didn’t realize that this was a small family run business that prefers you pick-up and return in the time frame requested (they have a life too) We were an hr or so late to pick up my Mother-in-Law was taken ill and in the hospital the owners were very understanding and there was no charge. The owner briefed us and sent us on our way. I must say was a little concerned at first reading over the reviews and Share My RV’s rental contract. But then I got a sense that they were just covering their butts and were very honest people. I agree with the other reviews that it’s important to note any prior damage carpet satins etc… but that would be impossible but then same goes for them when you return the RV they might not see damages until after you leave. I noticed a chip in the windshield just as we were leaving for our trip so I called Share My RV and left a message just to be sure. They had documented that it was already there. I also noticed that one of the window blinds needed re-stringing during our trip and was concerned that maybe one of my kids might have pulled on it too hard. When we returned the owners wife assured me that it was needing re-stringing and it was functional in the mean time. I recommend that you treat the motor home as if it was your own and pay for the cleaning package if you don’t want to thoroughly clean it yourself. We spent several hrs cleaning inside and out probably returned it cleaner than when we got it. The owner commented that it was refreshing that we pointed out the things that we in question and not trying to cover them up. The contract clearly states that the RV needs to be returned “In ready to rent condition” that means ALL the details. If you take a little pride in how you treat people and their property it will be a pleasant experience just like ours. I suppose if you wanted to rent and not hassle with all the details maybe go to one of those RV rentals establishments that have the big rental stickers on them. Those are probably good for the sense of entitlement costumers and the complainers. By the way one of those places quoted me same price for a much smaller RV and a mandatory cleaning fee. Share My RV is more of an elite fleet as if you were borrowing from a friend. We were not charge a penny more when we returned the RV. Looking forward to renting again they even offered us a return customer discount on our way out. Tiffany J
