We decided to add a master bedroom suite to our 75 year old craftsman style home. It was important to us that the existing construction was matched as closely as possible; in other words, we did not want the new addition to "look like an addition". There is quite a bit of skill involved in duplicating old, original wood exteriors and not everyone can do it.
We established a tight budget, and began looking for a contractor. Out of the three we interviewed, we liked Orion from Ruckle Construction the best. He was very knowledgeable and personable, and took a lot of time with us. We were pleased when Orion's bid was within our budget and was lower than all others.
Orion and his crew started our project on schedule as promised; even better, they finished the entire project on the end date promised. We encountered a few minor problems during construction, and we made the usual changes as construction proceeded. These issues were all handled professionally and expediently. We developed a rapport with the people on Orion's crew, and found all of them to be reliable and skilled in their professions. I can actually go so far as to say my wife and I had fun with this project! We are enjoying our new addition today just as much as the day we moved in. We have had no significant problems with anything since construction was completed.
I suppose this all sounds like a commercial for Ruckle Construction. But its all true and its really the way we feel. There is no doubt in my mind who I would call for any future construction needs. If you wish to speak with me further or if you have questions, Orion has my telephone number and e-mail address. Good luck with any projects you may be considering.
