Unfortunately when I placed my order with the company not all information was disclosed to me.
I wanted to order 1 set of Oz Audio 130CS speakers that were listed on the web site as a closeout model at a price of $199.99.
Considering I was purchasing a Kenwood Excelon DDX814 and these speakers I thought I should just order from one company. That had to be one of the biggest mistakes.
When I completed my order on November 25, I thought everything was done. On Monday November 30 I went to the online site to verify my order but there was no tracking information. I called and the customer service operator informed me that the business was waiting for the car stereo to be in stock. Interesting that this was not disclosed on the web site. I was then informed I would receive and e-mail no later then end of business on December 1.
What else did I expect, no e-mail. I called and actually talked to a very helpful customer service representative of the name William, who then informed me that neither of the pieces are in stock. Great customer service here other than William.
When I asked to be forwarded on to a supervisor I was greeted by another individual named William who said he had been on an escalated call for over 30 minutes. Should he be surprised?
He informed me that he would give me a call back once he completed his call.
In the time I waited for a call back from this lovely company, I found another web site selling the same speakers at the same price, confirmed they were in stock and had sent me a tracking number.
I also contacted another reputable web site and was confirmed the availability of the DDX814 and this was also placed and shipped before I even heard anything from OnlineCarStereo.com.
I even saved money ordering from 2 web sites.
End of story they have lost $1000 in business and my respect.
