Do not purchase anything from this company. Horrible customer service and they outright lied to me.
First off. This is my second order to from this company, first order was over a year ago and went off without a hitch. This time, shopped their website and ordered an amp, speakers, and sub woofer for a project. It was not until the package arrived that I found out the amp I planned the entire system around was on backorder. No where on the website (with a name like onlinecarstereo.com...probably safe to assume they are an online business) did they list the amp was on backorder. They also failed to contact me before shipping my order that the amp was on backorder.
While they did not charge me for the amp, I was stuck without it, and my purchase was useless. They informed me I should call and check stock before ordering...again, something that is not listed anywhere on their site. I was disgusted.
Month later, a rep calls (after trying unsuccessfully to contact their customer service) stating they would offer to sell me a different amp since my amp was now on backorder for at least 2 months. I later confirmed from the manufacturer that the amp was only on backorder for a 2 more weeks.
Since I'd had so many issues with this order, the sales agent offered a $20 discount on the amp. Again, didn't feel this was sufficient for the hassle, but $20 is better then nothing...they shipped the amp and charged full price.
Though I have 2 service tickets opened on this matter, they are doing nothing to make good on their promise.
In summary,
Horrible 'online' retailer that requires you to call to check if they have something. If you have any issues, forget about it, they'll do nothing to help fix the issue.
