Over 4 years clean and sober

I can't believe that I have actually achieved over 4 years of clean and sober time. I have gone to other treatment centers before and they did a good job. However, I would relapse again and again. I got the opportunity to go to Narconon Vista Bay and it has completely changed my life. I just finished spending time with my family for Thanksgiving and it couldn't have been more meaningful. It was so wonderful to be able to spend time with them and truly enjoy it. I wake up in the morning now happy to be myself and that is something special.
Choosing the right treatment center can be a tough choice. I am lucky that my family found Narconon Vista Bay and sent me there. With the help of counselors, and the program I have my life back.
I really like that this is not a 12 step program. I was tired of believing that I was suffering from a disease and can now honestly say that I don't consider myself to be a drug addict any more. Over are the days that I have to go to a meeting, stand up and say I am a drug addict. So happy to be free from the idea that I was going to suffer from this "disease" for the rest of my life.
If you know someone who is struggling with addiction and the 12 step just isn't working I suggest you look into Narconon Vista Bay.
