Unauthorized Charges After You Cancel

I thought I had canceled my account in March 2018. Support confirmed with me they updated my account at the time via email as my accountant was taking over the process. To my surprise, I had an unauthorized charge on my credit card in February 2019. I messaged support, they apologized and told me they would issue a refund. I thought everything was handled. But in June 2019 I received a letter of collections for over $200. I contacted support again, thinking they just made another mistake. This time their response was that because I did not ‘confirm the confirmation’ email back in February, they said I owe them again. Keep in mind, I already paid the state for my renewal so the charge doesn’t even make sense. I would recommend just dealing with the state for your filings and bypass MyLLC to save headaches. It’s quite strange that it is easier to work with the government than a private company.
