I have known Mr. Plotz for several years. Chris and I have worked together in the past and at one time him and his family lived with me in Michigan. I am writing this review because I have asked Chris several times to take down my portfolio from his site and he has refused to do so. If you visit his site www.manifestconcepts.com and click on portfolio you will see a site "The Amazing Alexander" that I developed for a client Justin Meitz. Chris and I had a HUGE falling out a while back when we were in the process of merging our companies Manifest Concepts and my company I.Define.Design together. Due to lack of financial planning on Chris's part, I up and left before any documents were signed. Again, Chris is claiming a site that he didn't develop. This is why before anyone decides to use Manifest Concepts please be sure to do your research first. Lastly, I will leave you all with this. The same client Justin Meitz wanted another site developed which Mr. Plotz said he would handle, charged my client $400.00, after everything was all said and done I took a look at the site and found out it was a cheap template by a company called Shape5. The site I am making reference to is www.justinmeitz.com. I don't understand why he charged $400 for a < $50 Joomla template. I spoke to the client after the site was up and running and needless to say, he wasn't too happy. I told him I could have built him a custom site for the same price but it's too late now. Chris if you are reading this you need to take down "The Amazing Alexander" from your portfolio. I'm sure you have ripped off more people with crappy templates. Why don't you show what kind of work you really do.

I am unaware of who this person is or what they want. I do have a site in my portfolio of a client that I have whose website I host. The purpose of having the site in the portfolio which is under construction is so that you can view a site that we host and see how smooth it runs and that we have a 99.9% up time. I no where in the portfolio claim ownership of the design and or claim that I developed it. All the credit is to go to the original designer.
As to any reference about my family this has nothing to do with the purpose behind the trust link community. This is not a trash talk about someones family community its one of professionalism and business ethics.
Now in reference to the template. I use what the clients request or what will best suite their needs. We all know that web development is much more than just applying the template. Things within the code need to be changed and or maintained. You know altered to fit the clients needs. The CMS code and or custom code needs to be loaded so on and so forth. What I charged the client was not for the template but for the work to alter things to that clients needs.
Ripping people of is not what I do. Nor what php developers do. Ripping people of is what flash developers do when they design you a flashy site that cant do anything because the code source and power isn't there and or is ten times what people like me charge for a very robust flash integrated site that combines the power of both the flashy side as well as the side that powers your business.
I ask that this person please quit bashing me for something I am not involved in and please leave my family out of this and please please quit using my space to advertise your company.
For those who want to do research on me or my company please type Chris Plotz or Manifest Concepts into google. They will both bring up several pages about me and the company.
