I'm sure like most men out there searching for an engagement ring; I was overwhelmed for quite a while. I buried myself in diamond research and read endlessly about how and where to buy them. I decided at first that I would make a purchase online, but I wanted to be able to go in person to see examples of diamonds in the range that I was looking before pulling the trigger. So, even though LA's jewelry district frightened me a little bit, I decided I would go and take a look at the diamonds at the more reputable places - obviously Gem Dynasty is high on that list.
Frank and Jason both warmly greeted me and began a terrific presentation of diamonds in the range that I was looking. Once I told Frank the parameters, they never tried to push anything more or less on me. He showed me exactly what I asked him to and never pushed the sale. Being a skeptic, I asked every question in the book to verify that everything was above board and that I would have ample opportunity to research the diamond and return it if it turned out to be anything less than what I was told. Frank calmed my fears in writing, and allowed me to go to other independent appraiser to verify and appraise it, which I did immediately before making the purchase official.
From there everything looked great. Frank even allowed me to use his internet to make sure I couldn't find a better deal online. It was clear that this was a deal I couldn't turn down. I happily purchased the diamond. And it's actually a grade higher in both cut and clarity than I thought I was going to be able to afford.
They even found me the absolutely perfect setting which I had no idea I would find there. It made such a big difference to see the stone placed in the different settings. Some of the ones that I thought I liked online would have looked a little ridiculous. Overall, I couldn't have come away happier with my purchase.
So, I hope this helps someone in their hunt for the right engagement ring. If nothing else, this is an awesome place to just go look at examples of what you could buy. But I have a feeling, if you're well-researched, you're going to find the selection, the price and the service are pretty much unbeatable. Good luck!
