I received an email from Fujitsu America on the Fujitsu Lifebook PH520 for $399.00, that included an external hard drive. I went online and purchased the item on February 2, 2011 (order number 746885, receipt available upon request). I received a call on 2/3/11 from "Joey" at Fujitsu (866-337-2831) wanting me to confirm the order (the message was recorded for call back, but I dont' know why they have to "confirm" and order!). I was advised that my order was good to go after I called immediately and spoke with the Fujitsu representative. I received the customer number of 317367 and a receipt that stated my shipping date would be 02/02/2011. On 02/07/2011, I was emailed by a Reyna Gooding (rgooding@us.fujitsu.com) advising that the notebook I ordered was depleted. They offered to cancel the order, or replace the laptop with another that had a dissimilar keyboard, color and version of Windows. I advised that I would be glad to purchase a similar one, but it needed the version of windows and same-type keyboard. I would let go of my request on the color and portability. After several emails back and forth with Reyna Gooding where she advised they could only provide a dissimilar computer or I could UPGRADE to a more expensive model. Based on Fujitsu's behavior I believe this to be false advertising. They should offer the same same or better, but try to fit the customer's specifications with the original item. They have laptops that offer similar keyboards, colors, and OS. I am not sure why they could not complete this order. I have all the emails, order confirmation and phone message. This seems to fit with their complaint record of false advertising. They also charged me for shipping when the advertisement specifically stated "free shipping with order of over $100.".
