I had a similar experience with e-tech. They sent an old, broken power supply which we tested immediately & contacted them. They said 'fill out an RMA form online'. The online form didn't work. We tried chatting online with Sonja, but as soon as we explained that the online form didn't work, Sonja disappeared from the chat.
After many calls and emails, we got an RMA #, but they indicated on their form that it was an exchange, and we wanted a refund. So we put a note in the box with the power supply that we wanted our money back. We, instead, got another power supply.
We put the charge in dispute and eventually e-tech sent us a return shipping label. We shipped back the power supply, and they refused receipt because we didn't have an RMA #. I called B of A visa (our credit card co), and they said 'sorry, unless we can prove they've taken the part back, you're stuck'. So apparently all they have to do is keep refusing to give RMA #s, or in a pinch refusing shipment, and they get their money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. The original power supply was OLD and BROKEN (supposed to be new), and they make it impossible to return the parts.
