Review 3/8/2011

I've been with DMS and similar sites for two years.
Demand Media Studios, like any company, need improvement. There are internal struggles and quality control issues...the work is hard and the pay is low.
If you didn't make it in at all, then your samples weren't written to style.
If you didn't make it past the trial period, you didn't write to style or ask enough questions during the editing process.
eHow is being rewritten--one article at a time. There are thousands of poorly-written pieces from volunteer writers. (Remember eHow used to be an open user-submitted site)
It takes about 1 hour to write an article. At $15 a piece that's about $12 an hour. It's LESS than what many writers make...but is it REALLY that bad?
The reviews on this site tell more about the reviewers than DMS...
It's a great job and I love it.
