RENTER BEWARE !! I am a property owner but in my dealings with Choice Properties - I was a tenant. Problems arose right from the start of my lease agreement, from sketchy accounting and erroneous eviction notices to a lack of response about problems with the house.
I was more than happy to get out of the contract with Choice Properties yet even after paying to have the house professionally cleaned and providing receipts,the owner of Choice Properties decided not to return my security deposit. He cited damage and "a poor cleaning job" not during the walk-through where I was present, but rather a few weeks later. I have to assume he had found better uses for my money instead of returning it to me.
I will be seeing these people again in Saint Lucie County court but if you're not into legal battles and being treated like dirt - my advice would be to avoid any business dealings with these people
