I ordered a data cable online on June 12, 2009 and received the item on June 18, 2009. The cable that I ordered was not compatible for what I needed it for, so I decided to return it for a full refund. I waited 14 days per phone instruction to check on my return. I finally received notification on July 15, 2009 via email that the item had been received, but I would only be receiving a partial refund because I didn't follow proper return policy. They were rude and uncooperative with me when I explained that I didn't make myself aware of their return policy when ordering online.

Yes, that is the issue.
You can't return purchases like this. You should at the very least understand that any merchants warehouse is shipping and receiving hundreds of packages each day. An RA is required for any returns.
****You are also lucky that the item was not returned to you for no credit since there was no RA request in our system.
No further refund will be issued.
DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE THAT THE ITEM IS CORRECT AND YOU PLAN ON KEEPING IT. THEY WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH OTHERWISE.
