I initially contacted ABI Fine Art at the beginning of 2010 and in April 2010 I contracted with them to sell a sculpture for me. I was told that there was someone interested in purchasing my sculpture for a set price and that upon receipt it would be shown to said party. I was contacted again and told that the party was interested and would be purchasing my sculpture and that I should have payment by the end of June 2010. After not hearing from them in July, I contacted them and was told that I was mis-informed and that no one had purchased the sculpture that indeed they were continuing to decide if they would purchase it or not but that it appeared they would at a much lower price than I was initially told. In August I began trying to contact the company again for follow up and none of my phone calls or emails were returned. Now it is October 1, 2010 and I still have not heard from them and have now been told that their number was disconnected. I have found another phone number for them and have left another message. This company is not reliable in their claims, payments, or contact with clients. I would not recommend them at all to anyone considering possibly contracting with someone to sell their art work.
