My move went as follows: I was contacted by close to 20 companies after filling out my info via different portals and only seriously considered 4 of them. After much research by my wife we decided on First Van Lines from all of the positive reviews on this website, Their owner Justin was who I spoke with on several occassions and he reassured me that our move would be fine and he was our point of contact and that he was in the office 7 days a week which made both my wife and I very easy. I did call to ammend our inventory list a few times and each time he was there and answered our emails literally within minutes of us sending them. Having the owner of the company accesible at all times was really a good selling point and he was there throughout the process. The driver Alex called us on Friday to set up our Sunday pick-up and we were told we would recieve the call 24-48 hours prior which did happen and they showed up on Sunday morning at 11am when they told us between 9 and 2. They were obviously pros because they packed our 3 bedroom house in about 5 hours and had 55 boxes to pack and there were 3 men including Alex. Our price was $200.00 higher than the quote because we were 400 plus pounds over the estimate and that was understandable because we had 10 boxes more than we thought. Overall a great move and they made a very frustrating thing like moving as relaxing as humanly possible. they have gained a customer for life.
