I called AAA Air Conditioning & Regrigeration to fix my a/c on a Saturday.
They arrived very promptly. They fixed my a/c about 20 minutes after the
service man arrived. The service man was very polite and knew what he was
doing. After replacing the defective part I was given a bill for $325. The
advertisement in the phone book said they do not charge extra for weekends.
It did not take long to repair my a/c . The service man just put in a very
small part and he was done. After receiving the bill and paying the $325 I
looked up on the internet the cost of the part. the part is a run cap for
indoor fan. The cost is $7 - $25 for the part. The total time for labor
was about 20 minutes. Then I paid the $325 bill. I was very upset that
I was charged $325 for a small part costing from $7 -$25. The bill I was
given does not have any explanation for the amount of money I paid. I feel I was really ripped off and I tried to get a response from the company and an explanation for the bill and they have not called back. I will NEVER
call AAA Air Conditioning & Refrigeration again and would advise anyone else
not to call them.
